Diverse Digital Dimensions - "Error - Failure is an Option" Part Three

The annual collaboration for master students of the NAIP European Music Masters (Prince Claus Conservatoire, Iceland University of the Arts) and MADTech, Frank Mohr Institute is a vibrant artistic play ground for the future of interdisciplinary talent. The project is formed in two parts: The first part being a series of four Live Lab sessions exploring core concepts behind our collaboration and the art of co-making in an ‘open space’ domain. And the second part is a 5-Day residency on location at Grand Theatre, working in various spaces both physically and virtually.

Diverse Digital Dimensions” is founded upon the fusion of 4 pillars of making: SONIC / VISUAL / TECHNOLOGICAL / PERFORMATIVE. From which the group immerse within the creative artistic realm found between the digital and physical domains. Investigating themes of the sensuous and the imperfect, embracing failure and experimentation and co-creating exciting new art. The project focuses on the collaborative process of art-making with makers from different disciplines and backgrounds in order to innovate the creative process with diverse perspectives. The residency culminates on the final day with a sharing of work produced by the group, this event is free and open to the public.
