In the compact city center you will find large brands next to experimental small shops and luxury vendors next to vintage stores. Stroll through the shopping streets consisting of many old houses or explore the regional markets and cozy village centers in the surrounding area.

Opening hours
In Groningen, shops are open seven days a week. On Thursday evenings shops are open until 9:00 pm.
Mondays: 1:00 until 6:00 pm (some of the large shops open earlier)
Tuesdays through Fridays: 10:00 am until 6:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am until 5:00 pm
Sundays: noon until 5:00 pm
(All shops are closed on Easter Sunday, Whit Sunday, Christmas Day and during the Dutch Remembrance on May 4th.)
