Kunsterf Warempel

The surroundings alone are certain to unleash your inner artist. Experience this for yourself during the workshops and creative holidays at the Kunsterf Warempel art venue in Grootegast. This is where small groups learn about working with various materials and techniques in a green environment. The vast countryside is sure to inspire you.

For three days, enjoy painting, modelling, spatial design and working with pigments. There is overnight accommodation at the location and other places in the area. You spend the first two days just practising before starting to work on your final assignment. By the end of this creative mini holiday, the work created by the students is exhibited. Enjoy the quiet and space and surprise yourself with your creativity.

If you prefer a shorter stay at Kunsterf Warempel, you can opt for a one-day workshop. You are also more than welcome in the studio and exhibition space where paintings and sculptures are displayed and sold. Artist Annet Pool’s experimental style combines form, colour and material, and her paintings and spatial work often display human figures or faces.
