Warffum – Visual artist Trudy Beekman has a studio in Warffum where she displays and sells her works of art. Inspired by nature and the countryside, she does mainly botanical drawings. Uithuizermeeden – The Eemstuin – a place where everything is allowed to grow naturally – is located near the Wadden Sea. Everything you see here is homegrown, according to the season. The Eemstuin delivers fresh organic vegetable baskets throughout the year in the city and environs. Every Friday, they sell their Thursday harvest at the Vismarkt market in Groningen.
