Spending the night in the straw-hotel is nostalgic, romantic, cool and comfortable. The bed molds itself to your body and the straw is nice and cool when it is hot outside. The hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or as a group accommodation. There are three types of accommodation: straw-igloos, a straw castle and a large hayloft. And the next morning you can have your breakfast at the picnic table, while enjoying the view over the wide countryside of Groningen.

Hiker's cabins | Noordpolderzijl

Spending the night in Noordpolderzijl means spending the night in the northernmost accommodation of the Netherlands. The wooden hiker's cabins at the harbor are surrounded by nature. They are located at a Unesco world heritage site: the Wadden Sea. During the day Noorderpolderzijl is a lovely place where people can recharge from the hustle and bustle of life. At night it is the perfect place to enjoy the silence and the overwhelming starry sky.

Camping De Watermolen | Opende

Campsite De Watermolen is located at the border with Friesland and surrounded by nature. It is located right next to a beautiful lake and you can camp here for a small price. Safari tents, chalets and water villas are available for the somewhat more luxurious campers. Especially nice for the tough boys and girls: spend the night in an old fire truck.

Camping ZomersBuiten | Oude Pekela

ZomersBuiten is an environmentally friendly campsite amidst greenery and flowers. Guests can freely use the pick-your-own garden full of fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Waste is sorted and fruit, vegetable and garden waste is made into compost. Camping owners Jelle and Els de Vries believe we should be a little more caring when it comes to our environment, which is why there are multiple provisions at the campsite to make a sustainable contribution. The campsite for example has its own water purification system and the showers are equipped with water-saving shower heads. Those who care about nature will love camping at ZomersBuiten.

Camping Wedderbergen | Wedde

Spacious comfortable places right next to the water, an indoor swimmingpool and lots of entertainment for the children. Campsite Wedderbergen is an ideal holiday destination in the province of Groningen. You will find numerous cycling and walking routes in the area and you can easily visit the picturesque fortress town of Bourtange from the campsite.

Camping Stadspark | Groningen

A green oasis of peace and quiet in the city of Groningen, where you can enjoy nature and at the same time be within walking distance of the busting city center. Campsite Stadspark is located in a beautiful park in English landscape style. In the summer you can meet people from all over the world at this cozy campsite. A nice alternative to the many hotels in the city center.

Camping Het Grunopark | Harkstede

The Grunopark site is 45 hectares in size and consist of a campsite and a beautiful lake with 2 beaches, where the kids can swim and play. Sports enthusiasts can try out wakeboarding, water-skiing, climbing at the climbing park, archery, one of the Escaperooms, building a raft or paintball: it is all possible.
