Museum Oldambt

Come and discover our museum! Museum Oldambt, about agriculture and landscape in the Dollard region.

In a beautiful spot in the open landscape of Oldambt in the east of the province of Groningen, there is a farm from 1771 of the oldest Oldambt type. It is a unique farm, the only remaining farm of this type in its original form. It has not been inhabited since the 1930s, so the interior has remained virtually unchanged. The farm consists of an ensemble of a farm and a barn on the farmyard with the adjacent villa Hoogheem.

The farm has been completely restored and, among other things, two luxury holiday homes and a museum have been created in the farm.

Open from May to September on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 pm and by appointment.
