Marije Faber (12 years old) came up with the idea when she moved to Gouden Pand 1 in Appingedam that they could start selling coffee, tea and apple pie. She also immediately came up with a suitable name: 't Gouden Appeltje. A super fun idea, which the whole family has embraced. The ground floor of 'Het Gouden Pand' has been decorated by Margriet, Marije's mother, and transformed into a cozy and contemporary coffee café.
In addition to delicious (apple) pie, you can also enjoy a delicious high tea at 't Gouden Appeltje.
We are open every Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and for groups also on other days.
