Cilia de la Court displays her white clay sculptures with red accents in her private house and garden. She does not glaze her sculptures, which makes them resistant to any type of weather. Atelier Blossom has oil paintings, cold encaustics and ink drawings on display. These works of art reflect a rich emotional life, and the same goes for the commissioned works. Many paintings have pets, memories or persons as their subject, and the non-commissioned work by this artist often displays landscapes, models or portraits. She is also a member of various art associations and participates in the annual Tweekarspelen Kunstroute art route.

You’ll find the Di Vetro gallery in the centre of Winschoten. Here, glass art is highlighted in the gallery as well as in the garden, demonstrating that one proper place for this particular art is outdoors. As the angle of natural light changes throughout the day, the various colours and shapes change right along with it, creating a surprising scene.

The La Kaserna exhibition space is located on the ground floor of a former constabulary barracks. With a focus on contemporary art, La Kaserna is in lovely contrast with its old accommodation, which still clearly shows signs of its original use.

Yvonne Struys’s studio is located in the ancient hall church of Nieuwolda. Although the ambiance of this church is rather traditional, the distinctive and delightful art created here is far from it. Yvonne is inspired by nature and music, and she loves to interweave ancient folk tales and myths with her art. The materials she uses are raw and aged, resulting in highly distinctive and unique work.
