Het Mammoetpad
Borger – The Mammoetpad path is part of the Heemtuin. In conjunction with Het Beleveniscollectief from Hellum, the Heemtuin created this beautiful nature study walk. With a nod to the area’s native inhabitants, it has resulted in an exciting barefoot path. Cross bridges that almost touch the water, slither through the mud on your bare feet, get on a raft and slip through the reeds. With so many adventures, this is also where you find an exciting playground, and a look-out. You can even go swimming here when the weather is nice.

Out to the beach
Various locations – Playing with or in the water or taking a dip on a sunny day are simply the best things in life. The Schildmeer lake in Steendam, the Botjes Zwembaai in Zuidbroek, the Zuidlaardermeer lake in Kropswolde, the Grunostrand beach near Groningen or the pool in Kolham are all great places for fun in and out of the water.

Harkstede - Wake up that adventurer in you at the Break Out Gruno park in Harkstede. Get up those trees in the climbing park, do some archery or go water-skiing.
